I worked with UCL Olfactory Heritage to archive the smell of the South Downs, to create a smell-o-vision multi-sensory experience of this ecosystem threatened by environmental destruction. The project will go on to explore the potential to digitise the smell of the South Downs as a further step of archiving ecosystems. I will investigate how I can then use this data to further support mapping ecological decline.
